Body
WHEREAS, the IT/GIS Department has a need for support of the County’s ongoing need for technology products and services, including hardware, software, licensing, maintenance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud solutions, implementation, consulting, and related professional services; and,
WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve-month term and supply contract, with two (2) twelve-month options to extend, for the furnishing of information technology products and services for use by the IT/GIS Department to Heartland Business Systems, LLC (HBS) of Little Chute, WI, under the terms and conditions of The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) Contract No. 220105, an existing competitively bid government contract; and,
WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends this award under section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, for the reason that this will allow the County to take advantage of discounts offered to large entities; and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases remaining subject to annual appropriation, with an annual estimated cost of $500,000.00; now therefore,
