Body
WHEREAS, Latisha Smith recently graduated as the salutatorian of Paseo Academy High School; and,
 
WHEREAS, Latisha graduated with a 3.76 GPA on a 4.0 scale; and,
 
WHEREAS, during high school, Latisha was involved in National Honor Society, was a member of the Theater Department, performing in theater productions all four years of high school, and was a Kauffman Scholar; and,
 
WHEREAS, Latisha plans to attend the University of Missouri - Kansas City in the fall and major in pre-elementary education; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Latisha Smith on her designation as salutatorian of Paseo Academy High School.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
