Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2836, Jackson County Code, 1984, the City of Sugar Creek, Missouri, has requested the use of its County Urban Road System (CURS) funds in the amount of $18,747.75 to cover the cost of city projects on roads within the CURS; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the city projects will benefit the citizens of Sugar Creek and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $18,747.75 as a lump-sum payment to the City of Sugar Creek for use on city projects.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
