Body
WHEREAS, the County currently provides environmental services relating to on-site sewage disposal, both within the unincorporated and for certain cities within the County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Levasy has requested that the County provide said services within the city; and,
WHEREAS, such services are in accordance with Missouri law; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Agreement for Environmental Services provides a suitable mechanism by which to implement the agreement and understanding of the parties; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Agreement for Environmental Services with the City of Levasy, Missouri.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
