Body
WHEREAS, Jolene Abernathy recently graduated as the salutatorian of Central High School; and,
 
WHEREAS, Jolene graduated with a 3.66 GPA on a 4.0 scale; and,
 
WHEREAS, during high school, Jolene was a team manager of the robotics team, was the president of National Honor Society, was the Captain of Varsity Volleyball and was the Co-captain of Varsity Cheerleading; and,
 
WHEREAS, Jolene plans to attend the University of Kansas in the fall and major in mechanical engineering; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Jolene Abernathy on her designation as salutatorian of Central High School.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
