Body
WHEREAS, the City of Blue Springs, Missouri, has requested the use of $173,088.00 from its CURS refund account to cover costs of the City's 2002 street overlay program; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the street overlay program proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Blue Springs and the citizens of Jackson County; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $173,088.00 to the City of Blue Springs for use in the City's 2002 street overlay program.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
