WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 34-99 for the furnishing of a service body to fit a 1999 Dodge 1-ton, 4x4 with a 84" CA chassis for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR BID
American Equipment $6,788.00
Kansas City, KS
Scherer Truck Equipment $7,329.00
Riverside, MO
Knapeheide Truck Equipment $7,333.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to American Equipment Company of Kansas City, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
