Body
WHEREAS, in order to provide electrical service to the new maintenance facility being constructed for the Kansas City Chiefs Football Club on the grounds of the Harry S Truman Sports Complex, the Kansas City Power and Light Co. has requested the conveyance of a permanent easement; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority, the County's agent for the management of the sports complex, recommends this conveyance; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Easement Conveyance provides a suitable mechanism by which to accomplish this purpose; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Easement Conveyance in favor of the Kansas City Power and Light Co.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
