Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB20043 for the furnishing of construction tools for use by the Public Works, Parks and Recreation, and Facilities Management Departments; and,

WHEREAS, the only responsive bid was received from Clark's Tool and Equipment of Blue Springs, MO; and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director recommends that award be made to Clark's Tool and Equipment of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
