A RESOLUTION transferring $15,759.00 within the 2005 General Fund, $61,740.00 within the 2005 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund, and $46,940.00 within 2005 Bad Check Fund, and awarding a contract on Request for Proposals No. PP20053 for the furnishing of criminal case and bad check management software for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office to Software Unlimited Corp. of Tupelo, MS, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $160,702.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director solicited proposals on Request for Proposals No. PP20053 for the furnishing of criminal case and bad check management software for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and,
WHEREAS, he distributed six solicitations and received one response thereon, from Software Unlimited Corp. of Tupelo, MS; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has recommended that award be made to Software Unlimited Corp. of Tupelo, MS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, in order to fund this purchase, certain transfers are necessary; and,
WHEREAS, the County has recommended said transfers; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfers be and hereby are made:
