Body
WHEREAS, Carlton and Kathryn Ridley, Jr., have strong family ties, love and devotion instilled in them from their parents, Carlton and Julia Ridley, Sr., and Johnny Lee and Johnnie Maddox, Sr., and siblings, Rufus and spouse Barbara, Daisy and spouse Ronald, Beatrice and spouse Furman, Sr., Bettye, Jessie and spouse Darryl, Johnny, Jr., and spouse Brenda, and Beverly and spouse Marvin; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ridley were united in holy matrimony on June 25, 1977, at Bethel Baptist Church, Kansas City, KS, by Rev. R. C. Higgs; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ridley have been blessed with a daughter, Carleeta Suzanne Ridley, and have given parental guidance and love to children, Carlton V. Ridley III and Angela LaShawn Ridley and grandchildren Carlton IV, Carlin, Andrew, Ronald, Crystal, and Chelsea; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ridley are actively involved in the educational, business, and religious communities exhibiting professionalism and high goals; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ridley have worked closely as parent advocates with the Kansas City Missouri Public School District by promoting higher education and offering encouragement to their children and others; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ridley are faithful members of the Friendship Baptist Church of Kansas City, MO, and give generously through their tithes, prayers, time, and involvement in the spiritual development and growth of the church; and,
