Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 13140, dated March 20, 2000, a contract in the amount of $12,500.00 with Sportsman Supply of St. Clair, MO, for the purchase of proprietary fishing tackle for resale by the Parks and Recreation Department at the various marinas was approved; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 13196, dated May 9, 2000, an increase to this contract in the amount of $2,000.00 was approved; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to further increase this contract in the amount of $5,500.00 to cover the additional demand for proprietary fishing tackle; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended the increase to this contract; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the increase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
