Body
WHEREAS, Patti Glass joined the Wayside Waifs family in August 2003 and over the past six and a half years has had a record of success including the creation of a board restricted fund, fortified a popular volunteer program, launched a humane education program entitled "No More Bullies", and raised pet adoptions by thirty percent (30%); and,

WHEREAS, Patti has a Master's degree in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas, spent twenty-four (24) years at Jewish Family & Children's Services of Greater Kansas City, four (4) years at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, and immediately prior to joining the Wayside Waifs family was the Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Charitable Trusts and Foundation at UMB Bank; and,

WHEREAS, Patti enjoys spending time with her family including her children; Brian, Adam, Sarah, and Amy as well as her grandchildren Max, Kylie, Aiden, and Ayla; and,

WHEREAS, Patti looks forward to travel throughout the United States, golf, learning about investments, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren during her retirement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature recognizes and congratulates Patti Glass upon the occasion of her retirement and extends best wishes throughout her retirement journey.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
