WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 6-01 for the furnishing of softball and baseball umpires for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon bids from the following:

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Eastern Jackson County USSSA Umpires Association, of Raytown, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the allocated recapitulation and analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
