Body
WHEREAS, section 50.535 of Missouri Revised Statutes provides that the fees collected to process concealed carry permit applications will be placed in a separate interest-bearing fund, and may be used specifically for equipment, training, and other necessary expenditures to process applications including employment of additional personnel; and,
WHEREAS, the Sheriff Office has a budget shortfall in its personal services account related to staffing for the Conceal and Carry Weapon program, and has requested the use of the Revolving Fund for this shortfall; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the required funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
