Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16008, dated August 28, 2006, the Legislature did authorize a six-year office space lease for the Prosecuting Attorney's Office's Family Support Division, which requires a relocation of its offices from the current location at 417 E. 13th Street, Kansas City, MO, to a new location at 324 E. 11th Street, Kansas City, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the move is to be performed by Superior Moving and Storage, Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of the City of Kansas City's contracts no.'s PFA4336 and PA4354; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the required funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 General Fund:
