WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to provide funding to the City of Grain Valley Police Department for its Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
