WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Grant Fund is necessary to cover the funding received from the Land and Water Conservation Fund of the State of Missouri and the Jackson County Wheelmen Association for the 2.7 mile extension of the Little Blue Trace Bicycle Trail and the transfer of matching funds; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Grant Fund:
