A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a contract with Black Expo, USA, for funding of the 1995 Black Expo, at a cost to the County not to exceed $40,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the County and Black Expo, USA, desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereunder the County will pay $40,000.00 to Black Expo, USA, the largest African-American consumer exposition in existence, to be used for funding the 1995 Black Expo; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
