Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for temporary and permanent construction easements for the widening of Colbern Road, Phase III Project; and,
WHEREAS, the owners of the property have agreed to convey the necessary temporary and permanent easements to the County as set forth in Exhibit "A"; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the easements; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of the right-of-way and easement totals $10,000.00 to be paid in acceptance of the easement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the aforementioned temporary and permanent construction easements, further described in the attached "Exhibit A", be and hereby is accepted and that the Manager of Finance be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the amount of $10,000.00 to E.J. and Mary Purnell in consideration for said easement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
