Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 13350, dated September 11, 2000, enter into a contract with GC Construction Company of Blue Springs, MO, in the amount of $240,465.00, for the Salem East Pave Ditch Replacement Project, No. 2414; and,
WHEREAS, proposed Change Order No. 1 (Final), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust various plan quantities to as-built quantities, and said change order will result in a decrease in the amount of $1,502.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the County Executive is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make final payment on the contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to release the encumbrance on the contract balance of $1,502.00.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
