INTRODUCED BY Greg Grounds, County Legislator
Body
WHEREAS, Sissy Reed has been a devoted and active member of the Blue Springs community for the past twenty-nine years; and,
 
WHEREAS, as a member of the Blue Springs City Council, Sissy's focus centered around the revitalization and restoration of older portions of Blue Springs and the downtown revitalization; and,
 
WHEREAS, Sissy is a real estate broker and has been in the real estate business since 1979, and has two adult children, and three grandchildren; and,
 
WHEREAS, Sissy is an active member in many community organizations including the Willowbrook Homeowners Association, the First Baptist Church, St. Mary's Auxiliary, Rotary Club, the Blue Springs Business Association, and the Nelson Friends of Art; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby recognizes Sissy Reed for her devotion and service to the Blue Springs and Jackson County communities.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
