WHEREAS, by Resolution 11610, dated February 18, 1997, the County did enter into an Agreement with the Full Employment Council to provide assessment, training, and work opportunities for clients of the Prosecuting Attorney's Deferred Prosecution and Drug Court Programs, at a cost not to exceed $120,000; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended that the term of this Agreement be extended until April 30, 1998, at no cost to the County, so that additional Drug Court and Deferred Prosecution clients can be served during that period; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Addendum to Agreement provides a suitable mechanism by which to implement the Prosecuting Attorney's recommendation in this regard; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Addendum to Agreement with the Full Employment Council...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
