BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

Legal Description:
A 22.4 ñ acre tract of land is generally located at the northeast corner of Cook Road and Major Road lying in a part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 48, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:

COMMENCING at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17, thence South 01 59'27" West, along the East line of said Northeast Quarter Section, a distance of 1564.98 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing South 01 59'27" West, a distance of 1088.34 feet to the Southeast corner of said Northeast Quarter Section; thence North 87 53'30" West, along the South line of said Northeast Quarter Section, a distance of 1067.24 feet to a tract of land described in Book I-2748 at page 606, recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in Independence, Missouri; thence North 1 51'00" East, along the East line of said tract, a distance of 314.90 feet; thence North 88 19'35" West, along the North line of said tract, a distance of 322.00 feet to a point in the West line of the East 5 acres of the West One-half said N.E.
