Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office Detention Center has a need for three 2026 Ford Transit T-350 Passenger Vans for daily operations to include the transport of inmates; and,

WHEREAS, the Interim Director and Finance and Purchasing and the Sheriff's Office recommend the award of the contract for such purchase to Midway Ford Truck Center of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of State of Missouri Contract No. MC2501182001-MC250182011, an existing competitively bid government contract, at an actual cost to the County in the amount of $230,220.00; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Interim Director Finance and Purchasing recommends the award under the existing competitively bid government contract for the reason that this will allow the County to take advantage of significant discounts offered to larger entities; now therefore,


BE IT RESOLVED that award be made under the existing competitively bid government contract as recommended by the Interim Director and Finance and Purchasing and the Sheriff's Office and that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...
