Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 15409, dated March 7, 2005, the County has certain personal property from the Sheriff's Office, further described and itemized in the list attached hereto marked as Exhibit "A", that was declared as surplus and authorized for disposal pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1137.2 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Sheriff's Department has requested that the following surplus personal property be transferred to the Blue Springs School District without compensation for use by the School District's Department of Public Safety:

now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that certain surplus personal property from the Sheriff's Office, further described and itemized in the list attached hereto marked as Exhibit "A", be transferred to the Blue Springs School District without compensation.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
