Body
WHEREAS, Spire Missouri, Inc. is requesting approval of a permanent utility easement for natural gas and appurtenances for installation of new gas mains along US 40 Highway and Ewing Ave in Kansas City, Missouri, located on property owned by Jackson County, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the gas mains will connect new gas lines to the new Jackson County Detention Center building, and,
WHEREAS, new six-inch diameter gas mains have been constructed and AS-Builts gas mains plans submitted to both Spire Missouri, Inc. and Jackson County Public Works for the work parallel to the north sides of US 40 Highway and along the east side of Ewing Avenue within the property owned by the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that said permanent utility easement in favor of Spire Missouri Inc. is hereby approved and the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the easement on behalf of the County.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
