Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Ordinance 2197, dated May 10, 1993, enter into a contract with Lamm Construction of Belton, MO, in the actual amount of $2,287,010.60 for the 85th Street Improvements, County Project No. 2139; and,

WHEREAS, by Resolution 9930, dated September 27, 1993, the County entered into Change Order No. 1 with Lamm Construction of Belton, MO, decreasing the contract amount by $21,037.97; and,

WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 2, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary as modifications were required by the Union Pacific Railroad, the
City of Kansas City's Water and Pollution Control Department, and Kerr Properties, and said change order will result in an increase of $31,852.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 2 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Public Works is authorized to execute he change order on behalf of the County.


Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
