Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution #16123, dated December 4, 2006, the County did contract with the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) to assist the County in retaining a qualified firm to provide executive search and recruiting services for qualified persons to fill certain high- level positions; and,
WHEREAS, MARC issued a Request for Qualifications on December 1, 2006, and received and evaluated eleven proposals via a selection panel that included county transition team members and MARC administrators; and,
WHEREAS, after evaluation of proposals, the selection panel recommends that an award be made to Mercer Group, Inc., of Sante Fe, NM, for these services at a cost to the County not to exceed $98,000.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement with Mercer Group, Inc., in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
