A RESOLUTION requesting the County administration to provide available office space to the Land Trust of Jackson County.

Body
WHEREAS, the Land Trust of Jackson County is attempting to resume operations after an interval during which operations had been brought to a temporary halt due to an ongoing investigation; and,
WHEREAS, in connection with this resumption of operations, Land Trust has requested that the County provide to Land Trust for its use some vacant office space on the fourth floor of the Community Justice Building located at 1305 Locust Street in Kansas City, for a period not to exceed one year; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature believes it important that the County render such assistance to Land Trust as it goes about fulfilling its important statutory duties; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County administration be and hereby is requested to provide office space as described above to the Land Trust of Jackson County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
