WHEREAS, by Resolution 15376, dated February 7, 2005, the Legislature authorized a contract with Eden Systems Inc. of Seattle, Washington, for an upgrade of the County Financial Information System; and,
WHEREAS, Eden Systems Inc. has failed to preform its obligations; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive or the Purchasing Director as her designee be and is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to terminate the contract with Eden Systems Inc. previously authorized in Resolution 15376.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
