Body
WHEREAS, the Tri-County Water Authority ("Authority") has a need for a permanent easement and a temporary construction easement in conjunction with the Authority's construction of a water main through the County's Mouth of the Little Blue Park as indicated in Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, the Authority has agreed to pay easement fees in the total amount of $12,914.96; and,
WHEREAS, this project will serve to benefit the Authority and the County and is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached permanent easement and temporary construction easement in favor of the Tri-County Water Authority.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
