Body
WHEREAS, by Resolutions 15029, 15060, 15140, 15215, and 15262, the County did award contracts on the 2004 Pavement Maintenance Projects (Phases 2, 5, and 7), Nos. 3002, 3018, and 3024, to Vance Brothers, Inc., of Kansas City (Jackson County), MO; and,

WHEREAS, the projects are now complete and have been accepted by the Director of Public Works, such that final payment is now due and owing; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make final payment on the contracts with Vance Brothers, Inc., for the 2004 Pavement Maintenance Projects (Phases 2, 5, and 7), Nos. 3002, 3018, and 3024.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
