Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety provides funding for the Prosecuting Attorney's DART (Drug Abatement Response Team) program; and,
WHEREAS, this program provides assistance to the DART team in its efforts to close down drug houses; and,
WHEREAS, the total state share of the grant is $242,274.75, with a local match of $80,758.25; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute a grant application to the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the DART grant.
Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
