A RESOLUTION transferring $14,891.00 within the unappropriated surplus of the 2001 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund and authorizing the County Executive to execute a First Addendum to the contract with County Court Services, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, to cover the cost of monthly rent payments for the Assessment Center, at a cost to the County not to exceed $20,400.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 13428, dated November 13, 2000, enter into an agreement with County Court Services, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, to provide substance abuse and/or other counseling services for the County's Drug Court Program, in the amount of $576,284.00; and,
WHEREAS, due to an oversight, sufficient funds for the rental of the Assessment Center, which is used by County Court Services in this program, were not included in this Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed First Addendum to this Agreement, a copy of which attached hereto, is necessary to provide for these rent payments at an actual cost of $20,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within the 2001 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund is necessary to cover payments due under this First Addendum; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made within the 2001 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
