Body
WHEREAS, the County and the Swope Parkway Health Center desire to enter into an Agreement provide case management services for youth involved in the Fathering Court Initiative and the NIA tutoring project at Northeast High School, for the prevention of drug and drug-related offenses at a cost not to exceed $10,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, this Agreement was recommended by the COMBAT Commission at its meeting of April 11, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the County deems it to be in the best interest of the citizenry to support such programs and activities; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is authorized to execute the attached Agreement with Swope Parkway Health Center at a cost not to exceed $10,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
