Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a continuing need for concessions at Adair Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids for these services under RFP no. 2-06; and,
WHEREAS, she distributed a total of twelve (12) solicitations and received three (3) responses, one (1) of which was "No Bid"; and,
WHEREAS, she has received as the only two (2) bids thereon the following:

JE Gross Concessions $4,000.00
Blue Springs, MO
Karen and Ron Bridges $1,600.00
Independence, MO
and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, as the highest and best bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
