Body
WHEREAS, the City of Lee's Summit, MO, Water Utilities Department, has requested an ingress/egress easement across a portion of Little Blue Trace Park north of the Oaks Ridge Meadows subdivision and south of the Little Blue River, as is more fully described in the attached Easement Agreement, for a 10-foot wide gravel access drive; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has determined that the permanent easement will have no adverse effect on park property and will provide the County with a new access point to the park for the benefit of park maintenance; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Permanent Ingress/Egress Easement Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
