Body
WHEREAS, Missouri law makes the state responsible for certain personnel expenses of circuit courts which have established a family court and which meet certain state funding guidelines; and,

WHEREAS, the Circuit Court of Jackson County has established its Family Court Division and is otherwise eligible for state reimbursement; and,

WHEREAS, the attached Supplemental Agreement for Jackson County Family Court Staff provides a suitable mechanism by which the state reimbursement can be transmitted to the County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Supplemental Agreement for Jackson County Family Court Staff with the Circuit Court of Jackson County and the Missouri Division of Child Support Enforcement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
