IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION declaring one 1986 BAC Verax breathalyzer, Serial #606063, as surplus, and authorizing its disposal by way of a trade-in, at no additional cost to the County. Intro RESOLUTION #10925, August 7, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has a 1986 BAC Verax breathalyzer, Serial #606063, that has become excess property; and, WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared this breathalyzer surplus; and, WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that the breathalyzer be used as a trade-in to the Missouri Division of Highway Safety for a Datamaster breathalyzer at no additional cost to the County; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus property by way of a trade-in to the Missouri Division of Highway Safety for a Datamaster breathalyzer. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
