WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 46-98 for the furnishing of a patrol boat, motor, and trailer for use by the Parks and Recreation Department but no responses were received; and,
WHEREAS, subsequently, the Parks and Recreation Department sought quotations, and received the following:
VENDOR QUOTATION
Off Shore Marine $15,500.00
Lenexa, KS
Starcraft Boats $16,186.00
Smithville, MO
Triton Boats $16,995.00
Ashland City, TN
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Off Shore Marine of Lenexa, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best quote; and,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
