Body
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has a need to replace the bridge located at U.S. Highway 24 over the Little Blue River; and,

WHEREAS, the bridge is located within the existing U.S. Highway 24 Right-of-Way at the Little Blue River and is more specifically described in the documents attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B"; and,

WHEREAS, the Little Blue Trace Trail must be removed and replaced in order to successfully complete the replacement of the bridge; and,

WHEREAS, Missouri Department of Transportation ("MoDot") will remove and replace the existing Little Blue Trace Trail crossing the Right-of-Way, at no cost to the County pursuant to the terms of the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "C"; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an agreement with Missouri Department of Transportation concerning the removal and replacement of the Little Blue Trace Trail, at no cost to the County.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
