Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 68-98 for the furnishing of truck bodies, spreaders, plows, and hydraulic equipment, for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

VENDOR BID

Armor Equipment $148,320.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

American Equipment $155,970.00
N. Kansas City, MO

Boulevard Truck $158,700.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Armor Equipment of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
