Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:
Description: The 5 ± acres are generally located ½ ± of a mile north and east of Al Gossett Road on the south side of Lorenze Road before the Johnson County line and specifically described as all that part of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 16, Township 47, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:

Beginning at the northeast corner of said Section 16; thence S 02?30'17" W, along the east line of said northeast quarter of Section 16, 897.00 feet; thence N 87?38'44" W, 250.00 feet; thence N 02?30'17" E, parallel with the east line of said northeast quarter, 897.30 feet, to a point on the north line of said northeast quarter; this S 87?34'36" E, along said north line, 250.00 feet, to the point of beginning.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Robert and Melissa VanVoorst (RZ-2006-403), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on June 15, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
