Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11264, dated April 29, 1996, the Legislature authorized the County Executive to execute an agreement with Public Water Supply District #16, in connection with the Fields Road Bridge Replacement Project, No. 2314, to relocate certain waterline facilities; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11855, dated August 11, 1997, the Legislature authorized the County Executive to execute Addendum No. 1 to the District's agreement at a cost to the County not to exceed $2,273.00; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement provides for additional payment to the water district if actual costs of this project were found to be higher than the estimated costs; and,
WHEREAS, actual costs exceeded estimated costs and therefore an increase to this contract is necessary in an amount not to exceed $1,490.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the aforesaid contract is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
