A RESOLUTION congratulating Dr. T. J. Bryant upon his 31 years in private practice and wishing him well on his retirement.

Body
WHEREAS, Dr. T. J. Bryant graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1963 and did his internship and residency in internal medicine at Menorah Medical Center; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Bryant has served as secretary of the Jackson County Medical Society and chairman of the Medical Licensure Board for the State of Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Bryant has also served on the Board of Directors of Menorah Medical Center, Baptist Medical Center, and the Baptist Medical Center Foundation; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Bryant is highly respected in the medical community and he will be missed by those who have worked with and received treatment from him; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Bryant and his wife of forty-one years have three children, Daryl Lloyd, Gregory Alan, and Cynthia Rose; and,
WHEREAS, a reception in honor of Dr. Bryant is being held at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center on October 1, 1998; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Dr. T. J. Bryant upon the occasion of his retirement from private practice, and wishes him success in all future endeavors.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
