Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids for the furnishing of police supplies and ammunition for use by various departments; and,

WHEREAS, a total of twenty-seven (27) solicitations were distributed and four (4) responses were received; and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the responsive bids received, the Director has recommended that the contract be split and awarded to the bidders submitting the lowest and best bids for each item; and,

WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards to the following bidders:

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases remaining subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the purchase; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payments on the contract...
