WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. 20065 for the furnishing of door and restroom partition replacement, repairs, and parts for use by the Facilities Management, Parks and Recreation, and Public Works Departments to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming twenty-four month period; and,

WHEREAS, a total of three responses were received from the following:

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be awarded to Overhead Door Company of North Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have bee...
