Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends a contract whereunder the County will provide Animal Control Services to the City of Lone Jack in 2004 for specified compensation; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has requested that the attached Agreement for Animal Control Services with the City of Lone Jack be approved; and,
WHEREAS, this Agreement is in the best interest of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature that the County Executive be and is hereby authorized to execute the attached Agreement for Animal Control Services with the City of Lone Jack.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
