Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 86-95 for the furnishing of microfilming services for use by the Records Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon the following:

VENDOR AWARD

Bell & Howell $17,128.00
Blue Springs, MO

Casey and Associates $17,255.63
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Mid-Continent Micrographics $17,714.00
St. Joseph, MO


and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Mid- Continent Micrographics of St. Joseph, MO, for the reason that its is the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Records has requested that additional funds be encumbered on this contract, so he can order additional microfilming services, if necessary; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing and Records Directors, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
